Pastors Needed
Turtle Lake, Saskatchewan
Lead Pastor Position

Dan and Judy Gies have ministered at Turtle Lake Foursquare Mission for 34 years and now feel that it is time to retire and let someone else lead. The church is located in a recreational area on a popular lake. Some of the members of the church live in Turtle Lake, but others are drawn from the nearby communities, with the result that each Sunday about seventy people gather for worship.

Nanaimo - British Columbia
Lead Pastor Position

After over 12 years at Compass Foursquare Church in Nanaimo BC, Pastor Lisa and Brian Wengel have felt that it is time to step down from leading this congregation. Compass meets in a rented space in a United Church with about 50 people gathering weekly. Here’s what Lisa says about the church:

Compass Church is a warm, friendly community of believers who are committed to serving and loving Jesus and each other. There is an openness and honesty in our body as we seek to grow in our walk with Christ.  We were a church plant out of Harvest Church (formally Maranatha) over 13 years ago because the city of Nanaimo is sprawling and we focus on the south end, while Harvest Church had been reaching the north end.  Our church has a youth ministry and a vibrant children's ministry, Freedom Sessions and home groups.  We also have an outreach to the lower income neighbourhoods called Adopt-A-Block.  What we have been lacking is a permanent home or building for our church and this has put a strain on our growth.  We believe that finding our own space would go a long way to helping us realize our potential.  Our strengths are discipleship and leadership, and our weaker areas are prayer and outreach.  A new pastor would find a team of enthusiastic supporters that are looking forward to the next chapter of our church's life.
